Tisane Balance en sachets pyramidal - 24 sachets

I prefer loose tea, so the pyramid tea bags aren't my favourite. The pyramid concept - leaving room for tea leaves to "expand" - is a good one, although unlike some other herbal teas I didn't find this tea blend absorbed a great deal of water. I tend to brew 500mL, so I would leave the tea bag steeping for about 7 minutes. The aroma coming out of the resealable bag containing the loose 24 tea bags isn't agreeable with me, but that aroma did not carry over to the tea itself.I enjoyed the tea in the evening; caffeine-free being the selling point for me. And the tea tasted OK; nothing in it was particularly noteworthy. The strong peppermint smell was a mild peppermint taste when drank. The other ingredients mentioned didn't seem to impact my tea.The caffeing-free part seems to be accurate - I did not notice any sleep difference when having this tea in the evening.The price - with a coupon - is a bit high compared to store-bought herbal tea bags. If you like peppermint a lot perhaps this is a wise choice. Otherwise, you probably want to look at different options. It's worth a try - I didn't throw any of the tea away. And the last tea bag seemed to be as good as the first, so it's something you can store for awhile.

The bags come packaged in a sealed paper pouch which has a resealable zipper seal.This tea blend is a combination of peppermint, anise seeds, thyme, linden, quackgrass and meadowsweet. While peppermint is the predominate taste you can definitely taste the other ingredients as well.This tea is caffeine free and has a long expiry date of 2026-11-15.Overall, I have brewed about eight cups of this tea and this blend provides an agreeable taste without an aftertaste.
